## What it is

A repository of SKILL.md files with instructions for coding agents to carry out Android development tasks, based on the documentation at developer.android.com.

## What it’s for

Use it when an agent (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini) has to work on Android apps, especially in flows where LLMs tend to get things wrong.

## Benefits

- Covers areas such as Jetpack Compose, navigation, performance, testing, security, Wear, TV, Cars, XR and Play
- Installs individual skills or all of them through the Android CLI (android skills add) or as a Claude Code or Codex plugin
- The agent activates the relevant skill automatically depending on the task

## Caveats

- Apache 2.0 license; the repository does not accept public contributions
- The repository itself warns that the AI can make mistakes and the output should be checked
