## What it is

An open source MCP server that builds a persistent local graph of code, documentation, configuration and infrastructure.

## What it’s for

Use it to give agents structural context of a large codebase without reading file by file.

## Benefits

- Call graph, architecture view, impact analysis, and semantic and text search
- Links docs and ADRs to code and tracks Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI
- Local indexing with no API key, 17 MCP tools and an installer for 45 clients

## Caveats

- MIT license
- According to the project, it cuts token use about 10 times and indexes the Linux kernel in about 3 minutes
- CBM Lens (visual interface) is in open beta v0.0.1 and Smart CI is experimental
