## What it is

A framework that turns HTML, CSS and animation compositions into MP4 video, using headless Chrome to capture frames and FFmpeg to encode.

## What it’s for

Use it to produce video with web code, alone or driven by an agent, instead of a timeline editor.

## Benefits

- Compositions are plain HTML files with timing attributes, no React or proprietary format
- Works with GSAP, CSS, Lottie, Three.js, Anime.js and WAAPI; deterministic output
- A CLI to create, preview, validate and render locally or in Docker, plus a catalog of blocks (transitions, captions, charts, maps)

## Caveats

- Apache 2.0 license, no per-render fee; requires Node.js 22+ and FFmpeg
- The Studio app is free, but the Pro plan gives access to HeyGen's premium models and some skills are Pro features
