## What it is

Muse Code is Meta's coding agent for the terminal and CI, built for Muse Spark. It plans, edits files and runs commands, with approvals and a system sandbox active from the first run.

## What it’s for

For delegating coding tasks in the terminal or in scripts and CI, with subagents, skills, hooks and MCP.

## Benefits

- Interactive mode and a headless mode (muse exec) for CI
- Subagents, skills, hooks and MCP
- Rewind to return to an earlier message
- TypeScript SDK

## Caveats

- Runs on macOS, Linux and Windows, with limitations on Windows.
- The page doesn't state pricing; it points to plans and billing in another section.
